# nuen

> LATAM talent at a published rate. Every hour a client pays splits 75 / 25 — 75% to the person doing the work, 25% to nuen. The split is published and appears on every invoice.

nuen places vetted Latin America-based talent with US and global teams across seven role families: engineering, design/drafting, product, operations, HR & recruiting, customer support, and executive assistants. Engagements start part-time (10–20 hrs/week) and scale to full-time when the fit is proven.

## The pricing formula

- Client pays an hourly rate. It splits 75 / 25: 75% to the hire, 25% to nuen.
- Published worked example (senior engineer): client pays $60/hr → $45/hr to the hire, $15/hr to nuen.
- All-role client rate range: $15–$60/hr. Exact rate is set by the individual's seniority at booking and shown to the client before work starts.
- Sourcing, contracts, international payments, compliance, and ongoing AI training and coaching for the hire are all handled by nuen at no extra line on the client invoice.

Talent-facing figures are always the client band × 0.75.

## Commercial terms

- Invoicing: Biweekly invoices · net-15, issued by nuen. Clients contract with nuen, not with individual contractors.
- Minimum term: none. Notice: 1 week (part-time), 2 weeks (full-time).
- Replacement: If a hire is not meeting performance expectations, notify nuen in writing and we re-match from the vetted shortlist. If you flag a fit issue within the first week, that week is not billed.
- Small-engagement fee: engagements billing $2,500 or less in a month add a flat $60 processing fee.
- Direct hire: permitted later on published, salary-based buyout terms stated in the contract from day one.
- Language-fit pricing: Strong client-facing English matters when the work requires it. When it does not, we can match Spanish-first professionals in engineering, design, drafting and operations at a rate that can be up to 40% lower. The vetting and 75 / 25 split stay exactly the same.
- Add-ons priced separately: English coaching, private health insurance, appreciation benefits, equipment, country-specific compliance.
- Time zones: all hires work US-overlapping hours (roughly UTC-3 to UTC-6).

## Process

1. Discovery call (30–45 min) — the work, the pressure points, what moves first.
2. Shortlist — 2–3 named vetted finalists with rate, availability, and a 5-minute intro call each.
3. Part-time start — 10–20 hrs/week; scale when the fit is clear.
4. Adjust anytime — add capacity, reduce scope, or convert to a direct hire.

## Also offered

- Fractional leadership at principal or CXO level (engineering, product, operations, people, AI adoption) on a monthly retainer, 10–20 hrs/week, scoped on the discovery call.
