Pricing

A formula buyers can read in one minute.

Every hour splits 75 / 25: 75% goes to the person doing the work, 25% covers nuen — including ongoing AI training and coaching for the hire, at no extra cost to you. Same split across every role; the hourly rate varies by function (from $13/hr for assistants up to $47/hr for senior engineering).

Engagement models

Two ways to work with us.

Staff augmentation when you need more hands at an hourly rate. Fractional leadership when you need principal- or CXO-level judgment on a monthly retainer. Different billing — same multi-role network, same 75 / 25 transparency.

Staff augmentation

Hourly rate

Invoiced biweekly · net-15 terms

Add talent to your team at a flat hourly rate. Same 75 / 25 split across every role.

  • Start at 10–20 hrs/week, scale to full-time when the fit is clear
  • Fast start · 5 business days replacement guarantee
  • The hire is paid monthly by nuen
  • Ongoing AI training and coaching for the hire — included, funded from our side
  • Role bands from $13–$60/hr — pick a role below to see the split

Fractional leadership

Monthly retainer

Paid monthly, up front

Reserve principal- or CXO-level time on a monthly retainer — across engineering, product, operations, people, recruiting, or AI adoption. Best when leadership is the bottleneck, not bandwidth.

  • Senior judgment on the harder calls in your function
  • Planning, review, and delivery oversight
  • Hiring support, mentorship, and team calibration
  • Typically 10–20 hours per week, time reserved for your team
  • Scoped separately from staff augmentation

How you pay

Biweekly invoices, net-15

Invoices go out every two weeks on net-15 terms. No minimum term — either side can step out cleanly with short notice.

How it scales

Part-time → full-time

Start at 10–20 hrs/week. Move to full-time once the fit is clear. No forced commitment upfront.

Add-ons

Layer on extras when you need them.

The 75 / 25 hourly rate covers the work. These are the optional wrappers — billed separately, monthly or one-time, scoped when you book.

Priced at booking

English coaching

Continuous English coaching for any team member. Great for upgrading Spanish-only talent over time, or sharpening fluent talent for more client-facing work.

Language fit

Spanish-fluent option

For engineering, design, drafting, and operations roles where the work doesn’t require strong client-facing English, we can match Spanish-first talent (writing or basic English) at a lower hourly rate. In LATAM, English is a separate skill that raises a salary — not a measure of how prepared someone is. Spanish-first talent goes through the same vetting; the rate is lower only because you are not paying for fluency the work does not need. Pair it with the English coaching add-on if you want the team’s English to keep improving over time.

Pricing FAQs

The objections that usually block a deal.

How is nuen different from other staffing firms?+
Three structural choices. We are benchless — nobody sits idle waiting to be billed, so there is no pressure to position someone into your team without real fit. We are lean — a small team with low overhead, which is why the whole operation runs smoothly on a 25% margin instead of a hidden markup. And we lean on AI across our own process — sourcing, screening, scheduling, ops — so the margin funds the hire’s growth, not our bureaucracy. The published 75 / 25 split is the real commercial answer, not the start of a longer reveal.
How does the pricing work?+
The example is simple: you pay $60/hr. It splits 75 / 25 — $45/hr to the hire, $15/hr to nuen. Ongoing AI training and coaching for the hire is included, funded from our side. The exact dollar split for your engagement is shown to you before any work starts.
What payment terms do you offer?+
Invoices go out every two weeks on net-15 terms, so billing tracks the work closely and nothing piles up. The hire is paid monthly by nuen, which gives us room to resolve any issues cleanly before payment goes out. One small note: if an engagement bills $2,500 or less in a month, we add a flat $60 processing fee to cover payment costs. Individual contractors remain responsible for their own local tax filings.
Is there a minimum engagement length?+
No. Fixed-length projects simply end when the scope is done. For dedicated engagements we ask for reasonable notice instead of a lock-in: one week for part-time, two weeks for full-time. And if it is genuinely not working in the first weeks, the 5-day replacement guarantee covers the swap.
What if I need a larger team?+
The 75 / 25 rule usually holds at team scale too — same math, just more lines. For larger deployments we are open to negotiating terms, as long as the structure keeps us lean enough to keep the model working for both sides.
How are contracts and payments handled?+
By nuen. You contract with and are invoiced by nuen — one clean biweekly invoice — and we run the contracts and the monthly payment flow to the hire, including the compliance documentation for international payments. You never contract directly with each contractor or manage payment logistics. Individual contractors remain responsible for their own local tax filings unless their engagement specifies otherwise.
What about NDAs, IP ownership, and access controls?+
Standard NDA is signed before any work starts, with mutual confidentiality and a work-product IP assignment in your favor on everything created during the engagement. Access is provisioned by you on your systems — the hire works inside your SSO, your repos, your secrets manager. Labor classification is handled as part of the contracting setup. We are happy to redline standard MSA language; what we will not do is sign anything that would walk back the published commercial terms.
